A warm Monday then a slight cool down.

Sunday Night Forecast

We’ll have a some passing clouds moving through the region tonight, but it will remain quite pleasant with lows dropping to the low 60s. Monday starts off with a bit of early moving clouds around then its back to bright sunshine with highs reaching a nice warm and comfortable low to mid 80s away from the coast. If you’re near the south coast highs will reach the upper 70s there as winds turn more southeasterly during the afternoon.

Expect some additional clouds and areas of fog Monday night as a weak trough slips down from Maine and Tuesday to usher in some slightly cooler air for midweek. Sunshine will return Tuesday afternoon, but highs will only be in the low and mid 70s. Similar conditions will be with us again on Wednesday.

Thursday brings our next threat for wet weather as a frontal system moves into New England. Showers and thunderstorms will be around Thursday and while we could see a few breaks of sun Friday there’ll still be a shower or two around. That front will be slow to progress across the region and it may still be lingering offshore on Saturday which means that as we start the upcoming weekend there could still be a shower threat. At this point I’m hopeful that conditions will improve for Sunday.
