The former New England Patriot will be arraigned Monday on charges of assaulting a fellow inmate and threatening a guard.
Monday, his lawyers will also be before a judge in the Odin Llyod murder case. They have filed several motions including one that asks a judge to dismiss the case.
“It may not be tomorrow, it may not be two weeks from now, it could be two months from now, but I would be stunned if that motion was not denied down the road,” said ABC6 News Analyst Ken Schreiber.
His lawyers are also seeking to have some evidence thrown out and to get more information from the prosecution.
“Here the state has to turn over basically everything that is requested that they intend to use at the trial and they also have to turn over prospective evidence that they do not intent to use that might be favorable to Mr. Hernandez,” said Schreiber.
Hernandez has pleaded not guilty in the murder of Odin Lloyd.
He is also charged in a 2012 double murder in
