ABC 6 Meteorologist Bill Gile calls shots at billiards tournament

FALL RIVER, Mass. (WLNE) — ABC 6 Meteorologist Bill Gile and his team took part in the American Poolplayers Association 8-Ball World Qualifier on June 1.

The tournament at Rack Em Up Billiards in Fall River saw teams playing for over 15 hours to be one of two to advance to the World Championship in Las Vegas in August.

Gile’s team won the first two rounds, but were knocked down in the last game.

They will be playing in the Cash Cup in August.
