ABC News: Trump national security advisor Waltz expected to leave position

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — President Donald Trump’s national security advisor Mike Waltz is expected leave the position, according to ABC News.

The reports of the move come in the wake of Trump’s reported frustration with Waltz following the March Signal chat leak in which Waltz was involved.

The leak to the editor of the Atlantic showed a group chat on the app where attack plans on Houthi rebels were discussed.

ABC News said that the decision has not yet been finalized by Trump.
