Actor Donnie Wahlberg Leaves Cape Cod Waitress $2,020 Tip

Lunch Bill was only $35

SANDWICH, Mass. (WLNE) — A server on the Cape got a hefty tip from actor and Dorchester native Donnie Wahlberg.

Marshland Restaurant and Bakery in Sandwich posted the picture of the receipt on their FaceBook page showing the $2,020 tip on a $35.27 lunch tab.

At the bottom of the receipt, Wahlberg wrote “#2020 Tip Challenge.”

Earlier this year, the New Kids on the Block singer gave an Illinois IHOP server the same amount on a $78 bill.
