After a stellar day, clouds and a few showers arrive overnight
PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — While it’s not nearly a washout, Friday won’t be able to hold a candle to Thursday.
Most of the rain tomorrow morning will push north of our area, but showers are possible through around 9am. The afternoon will be mostly cloudy, a very spotty shower.
Nice weather returns Saturday with a mix of sun and clouds, with highs 50-55; great for the Newport St. Patrick’s parade!
A quick-moving line of showers arrives early Sunday morning, but should move out by midday, so St. Patrick’s Day afternoon/evening isn’t looking bad!
Sun and clouds are expected for much of next week, but it will turn chillier (and a bit windy) by the midweek, just in time for our first days of spring (the equinox is Tuesday at 11:06 p.m.)
