3 people hospitalized after car crash in Central Falls

CENTRAL FALLS, R.I. (WLNE) — Central Falls firefighters said three people were taken to the hospital after a car crash Sunday afternoon.

The crash happened at the intersection of Hedley Avenue and Illinois Street around 2 p.m.

Fire officials said one person fled the scene after the crash, and one car hit a building. However, there were no damages to the building.

No word on the cause of the crash.
