1 person dead after car crash in Westerly

WESTERLY, R.I. (WLNE) — Westerly police said one woman died after a car crash Thursday afternoon.

The crash happened at the intersection of Post Road at Old Post Road around 1 p.m.

Chief Paul Gingerella said a car was t-boned. Other people involved suffered minor injuries.

The chief said the investigation is ongoing and more details will be released shortly.
