All Anchor Medical centers in Rhode Island to close on June 30
PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — Some Rhode Islanders need to look for a new primary care provider after Anchor Medical Associates announced it will be closing down in June, according to a notice from the state department of health.
Anchor Medical has three locations – in Providence, Warwick and Lincoln.
Its Lincoln location has adult and pediatric services.
The DOH now has a webpage to help Anchor Medical patients find a new primary care doctor.
The DOH also suggests using Anchor Medical’s “patient medication list” to print and fill out when going to a new provider and to request copies of your family’s medical records before the practice closes.
The centers officially close June 30th.
