All but one Cranston school open on Good Friday

A decision has been made as to whether Cranston schools will be in session Friday.

Every school except Western Hills Middle School will have school.

More than 200 teachers have requested to have Good Friday off.

This is the first year classes have been scheduled for Good Friday and after the teachers union sued the Cranston school department, a court mandated that teachers would be allowed to take the day off as long as they put in their requests by April 1.
