Alleged meth operation run out of camper targeted by Somerset, Fall River police
SOMERSET, Mass. (WLNE) — Fall River and Somerset police detectives executed a search warrant Thursday against two Somerset residents allegedly running a methamphetamine operation out of a camper.
Detectives obtained information alleging the suspects were selling meth and other narcotics to people in Fall River, Somerset and the surrounding area from the camper on Luther Avenue in Somerset.
The joint operation executed the warrant on Thursday and located suspects Monica Thibault and Derek Jones inside the camper.
Jones was found hiding in a storage area under the camper’s bed, according to Somerset police.
Police said that they seized 114 grams of meth, digital scales and packaging materials.
Jones, 34, is charged with trafficking 100g+ meth, possession of Class B drugs and outstanding warrants.
Thibault, 31, is charged with trafficking 100g+ meth and possession of Class B drugs.
