Amazon truck catches fire in Richmond

RICHMOND, R.I. (WLNE) — The Richmond Carolina Fire District was dispatched to an Amazon truck on fire last night.

According to officials, crews were dispatched to Hillsdale Section of town and found a fully involved Amazon delivery truck and brush fire.

The fire was handled by assigned apparatus and remained on scene until the vehicle was removed from the site and checked for hotspots in the brush nearby.

Fire crews were on scene and delivered the remaining packages that were saved.
