An Unsettled Stretch for Southern New England

Thursday Evening Forecast

While it hasn’t been a super-soaker of a day, it also hasn’t been bright and sunny. That said, we’re going to keep up the unsettled weather though the rest of the evening, as well as Friday and Saturday.

Tonight will bring low temperatures in the low 60s. The clouds will hang around, and don’t be shocked by a stray shower or two (although any rain we see in the Ocean State will be short-lived). Expect some dense and patchy fog, continuing into tomorrow morning. Low beams, low speeds out on the roads!

Friday afternoon will remain a bit dreary, with clouds and a few showers around. High temperatures will be cooler than average, ending up in the mid to upper 60s! Saturday will be similar, with a few showers (especially early morning and late afternoon), and highs in the 60s.

As for Sunday? Mark your calendars! Sunday isn’t just our next totally dry day, but it’s also the first day of astronomical fall! Clouds will hang around, although breaking for some sun here and there, and temperatures will remain in the 60s. Perfect for some festive, fall activities!
