Andrea Hotel demolished after heavy storm damage

After sustaining heavy damage during Super Storm Sandy the Andrea Hotel in Misquamicut has been knocked down.

The family who owns the hotel, the Colucci family, say they plan to rebuild the hotel and reopen in 2014.

A small part of the building will be preserved and will operate as an outdoor restaurant throughout the summer.
