The hottest ticket in town Saturday night is for the annual “Wing Fling” in Attleboro.

The event has grown by leaps and bounds since it started six years ago. They are now at the point where they literally turn people away at the door—and why not? You’ve got great tasting chicken wings while helping support local law enforcement.

The wings are sizzling at Boneyard Barbeque & Saloon in Seekonk. Once again, the owners are supporting the annual wing fling event benefiting local law enforcement.

It’s now in its 6th year, and every year, the Boneyard has taken part.

Owner, Carnig Ashchian says, “It’s a great cause. They raise a lot of money. I’m glad they sell out every year now.”

The “wing fling” began as a way to help an Attleboro Police Officer named Rich Berube who broke his neck. His brothers in the FOP wanted to raise money to cover expenses outside of insurance, and it’s been wildly successful.

“It’s great for everybody to come out—support law enforcement and support some great restaurants… and get some amazing wings” said Wing Fling Chairman, Larry Crosman.

Oh yes, the wings! Part of the fun includes celebrity judges, tasting all kinds of wings from gourmet to hot—and by hot—something between volcanic and center-of-the-sun!

One of the many restaurants looking to take down Boneyard and claim the honor of best tasting and hottest wings is KC’s Classic Burger Bar in North Attleboro.

Owner Katie Cerrone explains, “We’re using a toiboi chili for our hot wings…something you don’t see in this area too often, and then a little pineapple soy flavor for our gourmet wing. The rest is a secret.”

Two of the celebrity judges include Patriots players Jonas Gray and Joe Vellano.

If you don’t have a ticket, you’re out of luck! All 750 are long gone.
