Another chilly day for Southern New England

Surprise, surprise, we’re looking at another below-average day here in Southern New England. Highs will be in the mid 40s, and with the breeze it’ll feel like we’re right around 40 degrees. We’ll stay mostly sunny, but you’ll want to grab a heavier jacket heading out the door.
Wednesday’s temperatures will be very similar (upper 20s/low 30s in the morning, mid 40s in the afternoon). However, we’ll also be looking at a few clouds, and perhaps a little drizzle for parts of South County, the South Coast and Block Island in the morning as low pressure passes to the south. Otherwise, the day will include a mix of sun and clouds.
Thursday will be partly sunny and in the mid to upper 40s. Friday, however, clouds and temperatures increase (highs in the low 50s) as low pressure returns. This system is pretty weak, so we’re not looking for more than a shower or two, but don’t be shocked if you catch a few raindrops.
