Another gorgeous day coming up on Thursday before rain Friday
PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — It was another gorgeous day on Tuesday, but the afternoon sea breeze did bring in some much cooler air along the shoreline.
A weak disturbance will move through tonight with a few scattered clouds and showers along with it, but we clear out again for Thursday and expect abundant sunshine.
It will be several degrees warmer tomorrow, especially inland. We are likely to see 60-65 here, with temperatures in the 50s along the coast.
Clouds increase Thursday night into Friday with a nice batch of rain pushing through New England in the early morning.
The afternoon will still be cloudy with sprinkles but no steady/heavy rain.
Saturday we’ll get to enjoy dry weather with a mix of sun and clouds, with highs 50-55; great for the Newport St. Patrick’s parade!
Rain moves back in on St. Patrick’s Sunday, with sunshine returning for the new work week.
It will be turning a bit chillier (and windy) by the midweek – spring begins Tuesday at 11:06 p.m.
