Another rainy day on the way

Showers, drizzle and fog will persist overnight tonight with lows in the upper 40s. A couple more waves of low pressure will move through the region tomorrow which means periods of rain will be with us for the morning hours and the rainfall may become heavy at times between 10AM-Noon. Then, as the last wave moves by we’ll see the steady rains taper back to showers and come to an end by the evening. Look for highs to be in the low to mid 50s for northern and central RI and perhaps upper closer to the south coast.
Clearing will settle in tomorrow night and temperatures will drop into the upper 30s. Sunshine will mix with some afternoon clouds for Halloween day as highs reach the upper 40s. The Trick or Treating hours of 4-8PM will be rather chilly so bundle up those little ghosts and goblins! Another round of chilly showers return for Wednesday, but there should be some drying by the late afternoon with highs in the mid 40s.
Expect a frosty start Thursday morning, but plenty of sunshine will take readings back to the upper 40s in the afternoon. Dry, sunny conditions will endure into the weekend with a slight warming trend back to toward 60° or better. Then, don’t forget to turn the clocks back 1 hour to Daylight Standard Time Saturday night!
