Another raw-feeling day across Southern New England
We’re not out of the soggy stuff quite yet, though today will be much more manageable than Monday was. Expect nuisance weather– mist & drizzle and a few showers– as opposed to widespread/soaking rain. That said, the heavy stuff is headed for the Cape, the Islands and the South Shore this morning and early afternoon– be careful behind the wheel if you’re headed in that direction! It’ll be windy for Southern New England still as well, especially in the first half of the day. Expect gusts in the 20s and 30s, tapering to the 20s by the late afternoon/evening. Highs will be in the mid to upper 50s.
We’ll start with some sunshine on Wednesday, but clouds move in and out throughout the day as a cold front comes through. That front will be dry, so rain isn’t a factor. But we will feel the difference once the cool air after the front arrives. Highs will be in the mid 60s on Wednesday (before that cold air), but will drop to the mid 50s Thursday! Thursday, however, will be breezy but much sunnier!
We’ll stay mostly sunny through Saturday, with highs steadily climbing back to the 60s for the start of the weekend. Sunday will be in the mid to upper 60s, and clouds will increase later in the day ahead of our next weather-maker.
