Arooga’s bar in Warwick permanently closed

WARWICK, R.I. (WLNE) — A popular sports bar and wing-spot in Warwick closed due to “current business conditions” after 12 years of business.

Arooga’s Grille House and Sports Bar, located on 615 Greenwich Ave., posted to social media with the announcement Tuesday afternoon, as well as posting signs on the location’s front doors.

Restaurant officials say patrons are invited to visit their other locations in Attleboro, Massachusetts and Shelton, Connecticut.

Patrons who purchased tickets for the “Dine with Santa” event can redeem their tickets at the two other locations or have them refunded.
