Arrest made after SUV runs over motorcyclist in Warwick
WARWICK, R.I. (WLNE) — The Warwick Police Department said a person was arrested after a collision between an SUV and a motorcycle on June 1.
45-year-old Carrie Lyn White, of Johnston, was charged with driving under the influence resulting in serious bodily injury, duty to stop, and driving to endanger.

The department said the crash occurred around 9:45 p.m.
The motorcyclist, a 43-year-old male, was apparently run over during the collision and suffered a “traumatic injury” to his head with heavy bleeding.
He was transported to Rhode Island Hospital and is being treated for non-life threatening injuries.
Police said they located the driver of the SUV a short distance away from the crash.
She allegedly showed signs of impairment and may have been driving under the influence.
