Arrest made in Brockton after fatal stabbing of Fall River man
BROCKTON, Mass. (WLNE) — Plymouth County District Attorney Tim Cruz said that an arrest was made after a Fall River man was fatally stabbed on July 20.
Police received reports of a stabbing around 6 p.m. on the intersection of Crescent Street and Montello Street.
The male victim, 39-year-old Edmar Goncalves, was transported to Good Samaritan Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
Cruz said the suspect in the stabbing is 36-year-old Johnny Richmond.
Massachusetts State Police are still investigating the incident.
