Arrest made in connection with Fall River hit and run

FALL RIVER, Mass. (WLNE) – A woman was arrested this week in connection with a hit and run crash that left another woman seriously injured.

Jade Stanton, 26, was arrested for hitting a 55-year-old woman in Fall River Heritage State Park and then fleeing the scene on April 27.

Massachusetts State Police confirm they were able to track Stanton down through surveillance photos of her car.

Stanton was arraigned and released today.
