Arrest made in stabbing at New Bedford bus terminal

NEW BEDFORD, Mass. (WLNE) – An arrest was made Wednesday in connection with a stabbing at a bus terminal in New Bedford.
The stabbing occurred Tuesday night around 7:30 p.m. Authorities say the victim was in a fight with the suspect, when the suspect produced a knife and stabbed the victim.
The victim was taken to the hospital and is now stable.
The suspect was later identified as Charles Pulliam, 47, and he was charged with assault and battery with a dangerous weapon and mayhem. New Bedford police say Pulliam has faced numerous charges in the past for violent crimes.
