Suspect in Providence teen shooting Turns himself in to police

  Joseph Taylor, 18, who is charged with the murder of 20-year-old rapper Devon Taylor and the felony assault of his sister, 15-year-old Destiny Taylor, turned himself in to Providence police on Tuesday

There is no relation between Joseph Taylor and the two siblings.

Devon Taylor, who lived in Manton Heights, and Joseph Taylor, who is from the Silver Lake area, are from rival neighborhoods. Police are investigating whether that is the motive, according to detective Capt. Michael E. Correia.

Both siblings were shot while driving in broad daylight on Wendell Street in Providence last Wednesday.
