Attleboro apartment fire leaves 1 with serious injuries

ATTLEBORO, Mass. (WLNE) — The Attleboro Fire Department said an apartment fire on Magnolia Street left one person with serious injuries.

The fire occurred around 1:30 p.m. at a three story, six apartment building.

The department said that all residents were able to self-evacuate, and the injured resident was transported to the hospital.

Two dogs were also rescued from the building and were expected to survive.

The department said 24 residents were temporarily displaced due to the fire.

The cause is still under investigation.
