Attleboro fire chief: Motorcycle operator found 500 feet from point of I-95 crash

ATTLEBORO, Mass. (WLNE) — Massachusetts State Police and fire personnel responded to the scene of an Attleboro motorcycle crash that took place Thursday morning on I-95 southbound.
The incident occurred near the Rhode Island line at approximately 9:51 a.m. where Attleboro Fire Chief Scott Lachance said the motorcycle collided with another vehicle.
The impact resulted in the motorcycle operator being found approximately 500 feet from the apparent point of the collision.
The operator suffered life-threatening injuries and was transported to an area trauma center.
The operator’s condition is unknown at this time.
The driver of the second vehicle was uninjured.
The left and center lanes in the area of the crash remain closed while authorities process the scene.
Pawtucket fire personnel also responded to the scene of the crash.
The incident is being investigated by the Massachusetts State Police.
