Attleboro Fire Department rescues man from Ten Mile River

ATTLEBORO, Mass. (WLNE)- The Attleboro Fire Department rescued a man from Ten Mile River on Tuesday.

The department got a report from a resident who had seen a disoriented man in the Ten Mile River at around 12:30 p.m.

Crews located the 62-year-old Attleboro man in the thick brush near Water and West Streets.

Rescue officials entered the water and rescued the man from the river.

He received treatment at the scene and was later transported to a nearby hospital for further evaluation.
