Attleboro man sentenced for pointing loaded gun at man and telling him to run

ATTLEBORO, Mass. (WLNE) — An Attleboro man will serve five-seven years in state prison after being pleading guilty to pointing a loaded gun at a man and telling him to run.

Jeffrey Sek, 25, pleaded guilty to Assault with a Dangerous Weapon, two counts of Carrying an Illegal Firearm-Subsequent Offense among others.

The incident occurred on March 17, 2023 when Sek drove to Emory Street Convenience in Attleboro, exited his vehicle and aimed a gun at another man.

Sek then pulled back the hammer of the gun and told the victim to run.

He later drove by the victim’s home before parking down the street.

Police were called to the scene and found two 40-caliber pistols under Sek’s driver’s seat.

Sek had a previous illegal firearms charge from 2018.
