The next day, correctional officers conducted a strip search of Nolasco and found a package containing suboxone strips, as well as searched Pizarro’s cell where they discovered a plastic bottle with 4.5 grams of marijuana inside a pillowcase, according to the Department of Justice.
On July 9, 2023, DiJoseph used her credentials as an attorney to meet with a detainee that is allegedly involved in the conspiracy, who she had a personal relationship with, which she admitted to doing multiple times.
On Dec. 1, 2023, correctional officers seized the 10 sheets of paper from DiJoseph, which was sent to an FBI testing lab that later confirmed it was schedule I controlled substances.
DiJoseph was arrested in July 2024.
