Authorities search for man, 18, charged in double shooting at Worcester State University

WORCESTER, Mass. (WLNE) — Authorities are searching for a teenager accused of fatally shooting one man and injuring another at Worcester State University.

The Worcester County District Attorney’s Office said 18-year-old Kevin Rodriguez is wanted in connection to the double shooting that happened on campus around 2:30 a.m. Saturday.

Police said two men were hospitalized for gunshot wounds.

A 19-year-old man died from his injuries. A 21-year-old man suffered non-life-threatening injuries. Their names were not released.

Police said none of the men involved were Worcester State University students.

Rodriguez was last known to live in Lawrence, Massachusetts.

He is considered armed and dangerous.

Anyone who believes they see Rodriguez should not approach and call 911 immediately.
