Average gas price in MA jumps higher than RI

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) – The average price of a gallon of gas in Massachusetts jumped higher than prices in Rhode Island on Wednesday, according to GasBuddy.

The gas price tracking website now ranks Massachusetts as the 13th highest in the nation, with Rhode Island right behind at 14th highest.

Rhode Island averages $4.288 a gallon, Massachusetts averages $4.305.
