Barrington crash victims identified
BARRINGTON, R.I. (WLNE) – Police have identified the two victims of a deadly crash in Barrington on Saturday morning.
Officials say both 33-year-old Yusbel Rivero Hernandez of Pawtucket and 23-year-old Adiena A. Pupo Quile of Providence were killed in the incident.
On Saturday, police responded to a call of a car accident on the Wampanoag Trail with a vehicle off the roadway.
Officers arrived to find a car in the woods with heavy damage.
Both Hernandez, the driver, and Pupo Quile were transported to Rhode Island Hospital where they were pronounced dead.
Police say both occupants were seatbelted, but speed appears to be a factor.
