Barrington High School to sponsor Pfizer vaccine site

BARRINGTON, R.I (WLNE) – In a notice sent from the Superintendent, the Barrington community was informed that Barrington High School is now able to sponsor a COVID-19 vaccination clinic.
All students 16-18 years old and their immediate family members qualify to receive the Pfizer vaccination.
Any staff member of Barrington High School is also eligible.
The first dose of the vaccine is available Thursday, May 6, during the school day.
The second will be available Wednesday morning, May 28, during the school day.

As a reminder, vaccines do not cause disease but vaccines can cause the recipient’s immune system to respond.
This is a sign that the immune system is working, and symptoms may vary.
