‘Best possible outcome’: Bellingham police find missing 13-year-old

BELLINGHAM, Mass. (WLNE) — Bellingham police said that a missing 13-year-old has been found safe.

Police said Asher Mahoney was found just after 7p.m. Thursday and is doing well.

“We would like to thank the numerous agencies that assisted with this matter and we are glad that the best possible outcome was achieved,” said Bellingham police in a Facebook post.

Police said Asher was last seen Wednesday night on his Mountain bike.

Crews from across the region commenced what turned out to be a day long search Thursday in the area of Easy Street and Douglas Ave.
