Bellingham teen identified in Northborough party shooting

NORTHBOROUGH, Mass. (WLNE) — Officials identified a Bellingham teen killed in a shooting in Northborough over the weekend.
The Worcester County District Attorney’s Office said 16-year-old Ygor Correia of Bellingham was shot and killed at a massive house party in the early morning of May 12.
Police from multiple departments responded to the rental home on Howard Street for reports of a gun when they heard gunshots and entered the property.
District Attorney Joseph Early, Jr. described the scene as “chaotic” with hundreds of people on the property and multiple suffering from injuries.
Two officers carried the Correia to an ambulance which took him to UMass Memorial Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.
Three suspects appeared in Westborough District Court on Monday facing gun-related charges in connection with Correia’s death.
20-year-old Wallisom Texeira Da Silva of Hyde Park was charged with a gun felony, while 19-year-old Arnoldo Nogueira Filho of Northborough, and 27-year-old Pedro Desouza-Passos of Rockland were charged with gun possession.
Officials said the homeowner was on the property during the party, but it remains unclear if they were the one who threw the party or someone else who rented the home.
