Bicyclist hospitalized with ‘critical injuries’ after crash in Bellingham, police say
BELLINGHAM, Mass. (WLNE) — The Bellingham Police Department said a bicyclist was taken to the hospital with “critical injuries” after a motor vehicle crash on Monday.
Police and fire crews responded to South Main Street around 12:45 p.m. on Monday for a motor vehicle crash involving a bicycle.
Upon arrival, first responders discovered the bicyclist was injured and began treatment on scene.
The individual was taken to Landmark Medical Center with critical injuries, according to police.
The driver of the vehicle was evaluated and taken to Milford Regional Medical Center.
South Main Street was closed between Mann Street and Pulaski Boulevard after the crash, but has since reopened.
The crash is under investigation by the Bellingham Police Department and the Worcester County District Attorney’s Office.
