Bitter Cold to Start the Weekend

Clear skies tonight and light winds from the northwest will drop temperatures to near 20 for Saturday morning. Sunshine right from the start will help warm us up, but we will only get so far- into the upper-30s. Our average highs are near 50 this weekend and we will be far short of that mark Saturday. Sunday will be milder. After another sunny and cold start, a warm front will build in clouds through the day. Eventually rain will develop Sunday night and become heavy at times overnight through Monday morning. The Monday morning commute will be a slow one with rain and patches of fog. We will dry out for the second half of Monday and it will be seasonable with highs near 50. The remainder of the workweek looks bright and dry, but temperatures return to colder than average levels.
