Black bear spotted in Coventry
COVENTRY, R.I. (WLNE) — Coventry police said a black bear was spotted Monday afternoon.
The department said in a Facebook post that the bear was seen in the Wooden Estates area near Wisteria Drive.
Police advised residents living in the area to keep all animals and children inside, adding that they should also lock all doors and windows.
