BLACKSTONE, M.A. (WLNE) — The Blackstone Police Department is seeking help identifying a breaking and entering suspect.

Authorities are searching for a bald, light skinned black or Hispanic male, believed to be around 30-years-old, who was last seen wearing a black shirt, tan pants and gloves.

This suspect is wanted for his connection to a breaking and entering that occurred on Thursday, August 24th, around 5:19 a.m., at the D&H Variety on Social Street.

A store employee had arrived to open the store when they saw that the glass of the side door had been shattered, police said, and that packs of cigarettes appeared to be missing.

After reviewing surveillance video at D&H Variety, the suspect was seen entering the building and removing items from the store before fleeing.

At this time, the only known items stolen are cigarettes.

Anyone with information about this suspect should call the Blackstone Police at 508-883-1212 OR through their anonymous tip line at 508-876-5847.
