Block Island Ferry cancels all departures because of sea conditions
NARRAGANSETT, R.I. (WLNE) — For the fourth day in a row, the Block Island Ferry canceled its services because of the sea conditions.
The Ferry said all traditional and high speed ferry departures have been canceled for Tuesday.
“We wish we had better news,” the Ferry wrote in part on social media. “Unfortunately, sea conditions have not improved enough for our vessels to safely exit and enter Old Harbor.”
The ferry service has been canceled since Saturday.
