Block Island Ferry expected to be back in service after Wednesday suspension

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — Block Island Ferry service is expected to resume today on a modified schedule with extra trips.

That’s because the ferry had to suspend services Wednesday due to high surf and rough sea conditions.

Impacted customers are encouraged to call the office to re-book.
