Block Island’s Crescent Beach top-rated for families

You won’t have to travel far to visit one of the country’s best family-friendly beaches this summer.
Crescent Beach on Block Island made the list of Top 10 Best Family-Friendly Beaches in the nation according to the Family Vacation Critic review site.
It’s considered one of the best beaches for families that love the water and the coast. The review highlights Crescent Beach’s clean, shallow waves and soft sand.
Crescent Beach is nicknamed “Baby Beach” for those very reasons.
Also noted was the ample free parking, lifeguard stations, nearby hotels and cottages with restrooms and showers, and views of the Mohegan Cliffs.
