Great stretch of weather on the way

We’re almost through a rough stretch of weather! Showers are continuing across the area tonight, and it has been quite breezy as well.

Gusts around 30-40 mph will continue through morning, especially at the shore. This will create coastal headaches for mariners and beachgoers alike as the surf will be high into Saturday.

A *High Surf Advisory* is in effect during this time for 5-10 foot waves and high rip currents, and a *Gale Watch* is in effect for the outer waters.

Any showers will end by 7-9am Saturday morning and the sun will break out! It will be warm and still a bit humid Saturday afternoon, but comfier air will follow for Sunday and beyond.

Expect mostly sunny skies, low 80s and low humidity right through midweek!
