Board of Licenses orders club closed for 72 hours after assault on officer

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — The Providence Board of Licenses ordered Noir Lounge on Union Street to be closed for 72 hours after an incident on July 25.

The board ordered all licenses for the club revoked until a meeting on July 29 at 10:30 a.m.

Police officers responded to the club around 10:30 p.m. for reports of a disturbance which resulted in one arrest and and an officer suffering minor injuries.
