Body found at restaurant in Providence was homeless man who worked there
PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — The Providence Police Department said the body of a man found at Skyline at Waterplace was a worker who was homeless.
Officers responded to the restaurant around 11 a.m. on Aug. 27 and found the body, which appeared to have been decomposed for several days.
The restaurant had been closed since July 27.
The owner of the restaurant told police that he knew the deceased, who was a worker there with “severe medical conditions” and had permission to sleep in the business.
