Body of missing elderly woman found in Providence

A Providence woman, missing since last week, has been found dead.

Providence Police say 83-year-old Sophia Belluscio walked away from her assisted living home last Thursday.

Her remains were taken to the state medical examiners office.

There is no word on the cause of death.
