Body recovered from Woonasquatucket River in Providence
PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — Providence police are investigating after a body was pulled from the Woonasquatucket River Sunday afternoon.
According to police, the body was recovered from the water around 3 p.m., in the area of Promenade Street and Kinsley Avenue.
The Medical Examiner’s Officer was also at the scene investigating.
No further information was released as the investigation into the person’s cause of death and the circumstances leading up to their death remains ongoing.
