Dave, Danny and Matt have been friends for years. Two things all three have in common, their love for music, and a dream of opening up a restaurant. They decided to go for it and create boneheads, a music themed food spot. Even though they didn’t have any experience in the restaurant business, they decided to wing it.

"We use to drive 45 minutes to an hour to go find good wings and we said, why not have our own place in the area,"says Co-Owner, Dave Fazzina.

Their idea two years ago, grew into two locations and multiple awards for their wings. The most recent and prestigious award, coming over the Labor Day weekend at the National Buffalo Wing Festival in Buffalo, New York. The invitation only competition saw a full range from Small wing spots, to national franchises. Restaurants from around the world were represented. Ultimately, Boneheads won Festival favorite.

"It’s great when people around you say these are the best wings we’ve ever had, but coming from Buffalo, where they have chicken wings for breakfast lunch and dinner. It’s very encouraging and humbling to hear them say we’d really like to have one of these out here,"says Co-Owner, Matt Corona.

All three men are proud of what they’ve accomplished in a short amount of time, but have even more dreams going forward.
