Booze switcheroo: Popular energy drink cans could contain vodka seltzer after mislabeling

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — High Noon has issued a voluntary recall of its vodka seltzer after some cases were mislabeled as Celsius energy drinks.

The concern is consumers could accidentally ingest alcohol.

The FDA said cases of High Noon’s Beach Variety shipped from July 21 to 23 contained cans of its vodka-based seltzer that were mislabeled.

The brand is recalling two production lots.

High Noon said it was a quote “labeling error from our can supplier.”

There’s no reports of shipments in Rhode Island and Massachusetts at this time.
